Account Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute media relations, strategies/programs, and identify opportunities to build clients visibility in the press and its target business communities
  • Develop and implement public relation activities including new product introductions, product reviews, analyst relations, awards and speaker’ bureau opportunities
  • Work closely with clients to glean story ideas and develop newsworthy press releases and proactive media pitches
  • Manage and coach other team members
  • Lead account teams, servicing both privately-held and publicly-traded technology clients in the high technology and consumer electronics industries

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant business experience
  • 7+ years experience in technology public relations (previous agency experience required)
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Willingness to work in a fast-moving, dynamic, and team-oriented environment
  • Ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously
  • A well developed understanding of the high-technology market place
  • Ability to conceive and oversee the implementation of overall communication programs as well as targeted product launches, announcements, strategies, message development and corporate positioning
