By Matter

Newburyport, Mass. –August 9, 2013 – Matter Communications, one of the fastest-growing public relations and social media firms in the country, was recognized as Small PR Agency of the Year (Bronze) in the Bulldog Stars of PR Awards.

The 57 winners of the 2013 Bulldog Stars of PR Awards for Outstanding Achievement by Communications Agencies and Professionals were announced today by Bulldog Reporter.

Campaigns were judged by a team of working journalists, who assessed them on the basis of their ability to achieve extraordinary visibility and influence opinion, as well as on their industry leadership, creativity, command of media and technology and tenacity.

“Winning a Small PR Agency of the Year award is gratifying, particularly because our work was judged by working journalists with whom we interact every day,” said Matter founder and CEO Scott Signore. “Adhering to our results-focused PR philosophy has not only helped our clients grow, it’s done the same for Matter.”

The award comes on the heels of Matter’s announcement last month that it was named a “PR Agency of the Year” by the American Business Awards (the Stevies). Earlier this year Matter was named a “Best Place to Work” by the Boston Business Journal. Details about Bulldog Stars of PR Awards and list of award winners are available at www.bulldogreporter.com.
