Accolades include four Platinum Awards, four Gold Awards and one Honorable Mention
(Newburyport, MA) – May 24, 2016 – Matter Communications, a national PR and social media firm with in-house creative services and search marketing groups, announced today that Studio-C by Matter earned nine Hermes Creative Awards for projects ranging from videos to company rebranding to marketing collateral development.
Matter received four Platinum awards, the highest honor available awarded from more than six thousand entries, for its work on the following projects:
- Rebranding of Interactions, LLC (Integrated Marketing – Company Rebranding)
- South Boston Boys & Girls Club Alumni (Video – Nonprofit)
- The Father of the Cellphone: Dr. Marty Cooper (Video – Documentary)
- La Brea Bakery’s “Thanksgiving Heroes” (Video – Event)
Matter was also honored with four Gold awards for its work on the following projects:
- LoDown with LoJack: The Central Valley (Video – Public Relations)
- FootJoy Shoe Lookbook (Website Overall – Product)
- Windover Construction Website Design (Website Overall – Business to Consumer)
- JBL by HARMAN “Portables” Brochure (Publications – Brochure)

The Hermes Creative Awards recognizes marketing professionals around the world for their concept, writing and design work in both traditional and emerging media formats. This year’s winners were chosen from 6,000 entries representing 23 countries. The awards are judged and administered by the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals — an international organization that consists of several thousand marketing, communications, advertising, PR, media and freelance professionals. Categories are divided into print media/public relations/communications and electronic/interactive/social media.
