Situation

After an overhaul of its leadership team, MotionPoint needed to develop a voice that could help it stand out in the congested marketing technology space. But as the company was wary to expand beyond its core offering — multilingual website translation — MotionPoint looked to Matter to help it step outside its comfort zone and create a holistic thought leadership program that would expand it across the media landscape.

Strategy

To solidify MotionPoint’s position as leaders in the martech/B2B E-commerce space and boost press release output, Matter leveraged corporate success stories and thought pieces on major industry trends – including the growth of Hispanic populations, the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the rise of Amazon Business.

Results

Throughout the course of this campaign, Matter secured 58 pieces of coverage in industry publications, including MarketingProf, Martech Advisor, Target Marketing and more — doubling MotionPoint’s coverage results year-over-year. Additionally, the team increased the client’s annual press release output by two-fold, and even secured a weekly column in MediaPost, a key martech publication. By driving consistently impressive results, Matter was able to boost MotionPoint’s standing in the market and thoroughly impress the client’s team, including the company’s executive vice president.
