Embarking on a new path after spinning off from its parent company Comodo, Sectigo needed a bold vision to redefine itself as the world’s largest commercial Certificate Authority and leader in web security solutions. For this mission, Sectigo required a fully integrated partner that could help create a new name, brand identity and messaging, website and corporate assets. The company also sought to showcase its new veteran leadership team, new solutions for web and IoT security, and an expanded partner program.

BUILDING TRUST THROUGH GRIPPING BRANDING
Through a dynamic and multi-faceted launch strategy, Matter helped launch Sectigo with a best-in-class brand campaign destined to raise awareness and drive sales. After revamping their brand strategy and developing a new name, logo and identity, Matter built four new websites – including their flagship site. This effort also included a large content library including a corporate brand sizzle reel, product videos and collateral. Simultaneously, we executed an aggressive PR campaign to drive earned media around product news and contributed thought leadership content, as well as analyst relations and a targeted speaking and awards program. Matter also executed an organic and paid social media campaign to raise brand awareness and drive traffic to the Sectigo website(s).

In addition to content creation, Matter secured 50+ articles in less than a year, including several national business and tier one trade placements. There was also a concerted effort to elevate Sectigo’s leadership team as thought leaders through a comprehensive, targeted series of contributed bylined articles and blogs. Sectigo’s Chief Marketing Officer, Jonathan Skinner was the gold award winner for Cybersecurity Marketer of the Year as a result of the success of this program by the Cybersecurity Excellence Awards.
